Dr. Kate Lohman, a native Williamson, Georgia, earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Biotechnology from the University of Georgia, graduating magna cum laude. She then continued her professional training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed the doctoral program with honors. She was also a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.
Dr. Lohman is a Board-certified optometrist who specializes in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease and co-management of postoperative refractive and ocular surgeries. During her training, she completed rotations in anterior and posterior segment ocular disease, as well as cataract, corneal transplantation and refractive surgery co-management. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry.
In her free time, Dr. Lohman enjoys weight lifting, biking, and helping with her family’s cattle ranch.
