Dr. Elizabeth Denneny is a board-certified optometrist who specializes in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease, as well as co-management of postoperative refractive and ocular surgeries.

Dr. Denneny earned her bachelor of science degree from Auburn University, and during her time at school was active in numerous community groups and student government. After completing her undergraduate studies, she began her optometric education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry where she was president of Gold Key International honor society and National Student Liaison to the Vision Rehabilitation Section of the American Optometric Association. She then pursued a fellowship at the UAB Callahan Eye Hospital in ocular disease management and low vision rehabilitation. There, Dr. Denneny was able to grow as a clinician by working with ophthalmologists across all subspecialties to provide outstanding, personalized care to her patients. She also enjoys serving in the local community and abroad to provide eye care to those in need.

Dr. Denneny is a member and supporter of the American Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry. In her free time, Dr. Denneny enjoys sailing, hiking, baking, cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Auburn Tigers, and spending time with family and friends.
