• Pre and post-operative care -Before conducting your eye surgery, our team of ophthalmologists and optometrists at Snellville will guide you through the pre-op process, including the consultation, discussing what to expect, any prep needed such as using eye drops and arranging a ride home. Our eye doctors can help with all of your aftercare eye needs as well.

• Refractive Surgery (LASIK, PRK, RLE, ICL) – We perform a variety of refractive surgeries to correct vision issues related to myopia and presbyopia (nearsightedness and farsightedness). Refractive surgery, such as LASIK or PRK, may also be used to correct vision issues for eyes such as astigmatism.

• Glaucoma treatment & MIGS – If you have symptoms such as eye pain, nausea, headaches, blurred vision, and light sensitivity, you could have glaucoma. Our team of surgeons and specialists can complete an eye exam to diagnose your issues and prescribe eye drops and medication to help treat certain types of glaucoma.

• Cataract Surgery – You’ll meet with our surgeons for an exam to discuss your concerns and appropriate treatment options for your cataracts. We’ll then move forward with bladeless cataract surgery or Intraocular Lens Implants. We can also perform YAG posterior capsulotomy to correct clouded lenses.

• Oculoplastics (Reconstructive and Aesthetic) – Our board-certified oculofacial surgeons can treat a number of medical and aesthetic oculofacial concerns such as droopy eyes, wrinkles, orbital tumors, eyelid deformities, and more. We’ll discuss your needs and recommend a course of action.

• Diabetic eye disease –  Because diabetes affects the blood vessels in your eyes, people who have diabetes conditions often have eye issues. Our optometrists and ophthalmologists can provide a diagnosis and medication to help effectively manage this condition.

• Corneal & External Eye Disease Correction – Milan Eye Center provides various treatment options for patients with corneal ectasia, including corneal cross-linking, Intacs implants, and corneal transplants.

• Dry eyes – Our Snellville team can recommend over-the-counter treatments such as artificial tears and prescribe anti-inflammatories or antibiotics. Your eye doctor may recommend treatments such as punctal plugs or the iLux, or a prescription.

• Eye Floaters and Flashes – If you experience eye floaters or flashes, there may be something more serious going on with your vision. Our ophthalmologists can perform an eye exam to find the root cause of your floaters.

• Chalazia and Styes – Our eye doctors can prescribe antibiotics to combat the infection that causes these bumps. In more severe cases, we can provide steroid injections or refer you to another Milan Eye Center location for surgical removal.
